The Alpine Club, a new luxury on-mountain private club in Telluride, Colorado, has announced the appointment of George Bigley as General Manager. Developed by Southworth, a family-owned club operator, in partnership with long-time Telluride residents Scott and Lauren Woodward, the club will provide members with curated experiences and exclusive access to the mountain destination. The club is designed to cater to the unique needs of affluent travelers, offering a year-round retreat in one of the most picturesque locations in Colorado.
George Bigley: A Leader with Deep Ties to Telluride
As General Manager, Bigley will oversee all aspects of the club’s operations, including organizational culture, member engagement, and service delivery. Bigley’s extensive experience in mountain hospitality makes him a perfect fit for this role. He brings valuable expertise from his tenure as General Manager of Willowbend, Southworth’s flagship property on Cape Cod, where he worked to enhance the club’s member experience and operational strategy.
